If your nationality is eligible for Visa-Exempt Entry, you do not need to apply for a visa or E-code. You may enter Taiwan directly with your valid passport for the permitted duration of stay.

You can ask for the HOC to submit your application for an eVisa. HOC volunteers to help starting the application with the Taiwanese government to support the eVisa process but the approval is solely at the government’s decision and, if approved, an e-code will be sent to you for completing the process by yourself. To ask for the HOC’s support, please submit the necessary data on the Google Form below between January 15 and March 15, 2026. If you are applying after March 15, please follow Category 5.
Mainland China Residents: A special Entry Permit is required. Please apply via the HOC Special Entry Permit Form.
Hong Kong & Macau Residents: Apply for an "Exit and Entry Permit" directly via the National Immigration Agency Online System. No E-Code is required.
The eVisa system is not available for these countries. Attendees must apply for a physical visa at a Taiwan Representative Office. Your registration confirmation should have included an attached Invitation Letter. If it did not, please contact ri.registration@rotary.org.
